SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Lance Mason was arraigned on a charge of felonious assault Monday morning in a Shaker Heights municipal courtroom.
The charges stem from a domestic violence incident that took place Saturday afternoon on Van Aken Blvd. around 12:15 p.m.
911 callers reported seeing people fighting inside a car, the car swerving and the horn blowing before the car came to a sudden stop.
According to police Judge Mason punched his wife in the face several times, choked and bit her.
Cleveland Police arrested him at 2:45 p.m. at his Cleveland home. He’s been locked up since August 2 with no bond.
He was given a $65,000 bond in court.
