Facebook is making adjustments to the appearance of links and posts on its News Feed in an effort to reduce “click-baiting,” the social network announced Monday.

The changes are being implemented to make certain clickbait content doesn’t push out the content users want to see.

In order to make the change, Facebook will now track how long users spend time away to read an article. If users spend more time away from Facebook then that suggests the article contained something valuable.
