Alicia Keys is helping to bring an uplifting message to the many social and political concerns of today. She debuted a new single called “We Are Here” on her Facebook page on Monday, along with a lengthy post preaching compassion and understanding in order to achieve more unified world.
The 33-year-old Grammy winner adds that she wanted to touch on the “growing frustration” being felt around the world, and focus the attention on the “desire to make a difference.”
A new album from Keys is expected to arrive later this year.
