First, he tried to get rid of his nickname (Bow Wow) which has proved relatively unsuccessful because no one calls him anything besides Bow Wow, and Saturday night, he got engaged to Erica Mena, and no one even really knew they were dating. Back in February, Erica showed up to 106 & Park (which Bow Wow hosts) and the two kissed on camera.
Mena has a son named King and Bow Wow has a daughter named Shai Moss. On July 7, 2011, Bow Wow revealed he had been keeping the fact that he has a daughter secret. Bow Wow also revealed that Shai was born in April 2011 and that her mother was his former girlfriend Joie Chavis.
Shai currently lives with her mother but does have a relationship with her father. And, as of 2012, Bow Wow pays $3,000 a month in child support.
