PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A Lake County man trying to get rid of gas created an explosion and set himself on fire Wednesday night.
Brian Schneider, 53, of Painesville Township, was reported to be in critical condition with severe burns, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.
A neighbor called 911 just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday after he heard the blast and saw the fire.
