Facebook, as well as other forms of social media, have become a place where people either show only the great parts of their life, or bitch and moan about how awful everything is in the hopes of getting attention. While it seems like that latter group would be the most annoying, in reality, it’s all those “happy,” people who really irk us. In fact, a new study shows that those happy people aren’t really all that happy after all.
So what BS relationship posts have you seen on Facebook?
1. I have the perfect man, the perfect life, and the perfect relationship.
We don’t have to tell you that nothing in the world is perfect, and if you feel the need to broadcast that, you might be trying to convince yourself.
2. It’s us against the world; we ride or die for each other!
What are you, bank robbers? Neither of you have any family, friends, or anyone besides each other? Why is it attractive to only have your man in your circle?
3. My #MCM is my bae…I only have eyes for him.
Sooo….nobody else is attractive to you? It’s healthy to look at other men, then remember what you have at home.
4. I know he’s the one…this has been the best 6 weeks of my life!
They say love has no time limit, but it’s highly unlikely that you found your soulmate in six weeks. Pump your breaks and get past the infatuation phase and really get to know him…because we’re not buying it.
5. I’m so proud of my man! He’s the best boyfriend in the world!
……but he cheated on you 2 days ago, still doesn’t have a job, and spends most of his time hanging with his boys. It’s one thing to fool Facebook; it’s another to try and fool yourself.
