DALLAS – Another health care employee at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas has tested positive for Ebola.

The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed early Wednesday that the worker had provided care for the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S., just like Nina Pham, a nurse who also tested positive for Ebloa.

Texas officials said the worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediately isolated at the hospital. The worker has been interviewed to identify any contact or potential exposure, and those people will be monitored, the state health department said.

The employee was among the workers who took care of Thomas Eric Duncan after he was diagnosed with Ebola. He died last week,  marking the first U.S. Ebola death.
