A good spin-off is hard to find, and unfortunately, “Tiny & Shekinah’s Weave Trip” confirms that thought.
In theory, a Tiny and Shekinah spin-off of “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” should be a slam dunk. Tiny and Shekinah with a mobile hair salon should be a three point dunk, in fact. Basically, if “Family Hustle” is “Cheers,” then “Weave Trip” should be “Frasier.” Instead, “Weave Trip” is the type of project where all of the good stuff is shown in the commercials promoting it, and everything else is the bad stuff.
