MARYSVILLE, Wash. – UPDATE:

A gunman who opened fire at a high school just north of Seattle is dead, according to reports.

ABC affiliate KOMO-TV reports police have confirmed the shooter killed himself at Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, about 30 miles north of Seattle.

KOMO-TV reports at least two students were shot. Their conditions at this time can not be confirmed by officials.

Witnesses said the shooting took place in the school cafeteria. One eyewitness estimated there were as many as 50 people in the cafeteria at the time of the shooting, according to KOMO.

Many students ran to a church near the school where they could be picked up by their parents.

Several shots were fired. Some witnesses reported hearing anywhere from four to six shots.
