CANTON, OH (WOIO) – On Friday, November 7, Canton Police took to Facebook to inform the community that Dueber Elementary School had been placed in lock down.
The lock down took place around 9:10 a.m. after a security guard noticed a teen walking through the parking lot with what looked like a gun.
The police department responded swiftly and soon located the 15-year-old, who was taken into custody.
The juvenile has been charged with inducing panic, carrying a concealed weapon, and conveyance of a weapon on school property.
