President Obama will use a Thursday speech to roll out new executive orders that could grant legal status to millions of immigrants now in the country illegally, officials said Wednesday.
(Let’s hope he completes his speech before Scandal comes on!)
In a video announcement posted on Facebook and at the White House website, Obama said he will address the nation at 8 p.m. Eastern time Thursday.
“What I’m going to be laying out is the things that I can do, with my lawful authority as president, to make the system work better — even as I continue to work with Congress and encourage them to get a bipartisan, comprehensive bill that can solve the entire problem,”
