CLEVELAND – Quiet, meek, shy, a homebody. They were some of the words the family of Shaylona Williams used to describe the 17-year-old high school senior who dreamed of one day becoming a nurse.

A dream cut short when Williams was shot and killed Friday night along with four others inside a home on East 92nd Street.

“She never really went anywhere, she never did anything,” said her mother Lashawnda Williams. “Just in the last two weeks she started kind of trying to break loose and gained some independence for herself and she had gotten this new boyfriend.”

That boyfriend was Jario Johnson, 18, who was killed along with his mother who was pregnant Sherita Johnson and Lemon Bryant, 60.
