After cleaning house this week and giving Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones pink slips, Simon Cowell is said to have offered Beyonce $100 million dollars a year if she signs up as a judge for five seasons of “X Factor” USA. The “Love on Top” singer appeared in the UK version of the reality singing competition back in 2008.

But would Beyonce possibly consider the deal?!?

Beyonce already has a stash in the bank, and having just had a baby and we’re sure she’s already working on her next album, we don’t think there’s enough hours in the day for Bey to take on another job!

Hosting a Super Bowl Party this year? If so, offer your football fans plenty of good food to munch on while cheering for their favorite team.

Super Bowl Sunday is not the time to think about your diet, this is the one day that we throw caution to the wind. Whether you tune in for the game, the halftime show, or the commercials, you won’t miss one minute of the action if you keep things simple with make-ahead dishes and easy buffets.

Here are some easy recipes to serve your guests:

Hooters’s Buffalo Wings

Prep. Time: 1:45

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
20 chicken wing segments
1/2 cup butter OR margarine
1/2 cup hot sauce (see Notes, below)

-In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and peppers.
-Coat chicken entirely in the flour mixture; refrigerate coated wings for 1 hour; coat chicken again with remaining flour mixture.
-In a 2-quart saucepan, heat butter and hot sauce just until butter melts; turn heat to low and keep warm on stove top.
-Deep-fry chicken, 8 – 10 pieces at a time, in 375 degree oil (vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil) for 13 minutes, turning once or twice.
-Drain chicken on a wire cooling rack for 30 seconds, then immediately toss fried chicken in buffalo sauce mixture and remove with a slotted spoon.
-Repeat with remaining chicken.

Adjusting the spiciness of the sauce: As is, the recipe produces a medium sauce. To change the amount of spiciness, simply adjust the butter-to-hot sauce-ratio:
Mild: Use 3/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup hot sauce.
Hot: Use 1/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup hot sauce.

She came in kicking and screaming. Bound by law enforcement, this 12-year-old child was cussing and fussing as she entered the Living Water for Girls home. She was angry and rightly so. After all, this girl had been bought and sold as a prostitute in hotel rooms and in strip clubs since she was nine years old.

Her rage didn’t subside once she got in the home. She went to throw a piece of furniture when the home’s founder and operator, Lisa Williams, stopped her.

“Sweetie, we’ve got seven acres out here and we’ve got a whole lot of trees and everything else, if you want to throw something you can go outside and throw something but you don’t break up furniture in this house. That’s not what we do here and you’re not going to fight my staff because that’s not what we do here.”

The girl, unmoved, turned to Williams screaming at the top of her lungs, “You don’t understand I’ve been fighting all of my life. All I know how to do is fight!”

These are the types of girls Williams’ home rescues. Girls who have been exploited by adults who want to have sex with them for their pleasure and perversion.

While the job is not always easy, it was something Williams had to do. She was compelled to act by an article she read in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Accompanying the article was a picture of a 10-year-old girl in an orange jumpsuit with shackles around her ankles. She, and not the men who had bought and sold her, was being charged as a prostitute. Williams was outraged. But instead of reading the article and dismissing it from her mind, like many of us often do, she took it upon herself to do something. Initially, she solicited friends to raise money for another organization; but in 2007, she decided to start her own refuge for prostituted girls.

It was with that goal in mind that Williams went out into her community, knocking on doors to raise money and awareness for the problem and the home she intended to build to help solve it.

“I believe if people knew that this was happening in their own backyards, in their own communities, to their own daughters and sisters, they too would be outraged and would want to do something. And so with that as our premise, we began to tell the story and people began to say ‘how can I help?”

In one year that generosity translated into a quarter of a million dollars. With those donations and partnerships with local churches, sororities and law enforcement, Williams was able to build a safe refuge.

The treat is made of cornbread topped with bleu cheese frosting and an actual chicken wing. It’s the creation of a bakery owner not here in Buffalo, but in Colonie, a town north of Albany.

Coccadott’s owner Rachel Coca-Dott said, “I was thinking about the Super Bowl. What goes with the Super Bowl but chicken wings? And I said, ‘Oh, a chicken wing cupcake, Rachel?’ And I tried five or six recipes and the last recipe when I was ready to call it quits I think we kinda nailed it on it.”

The cupcakes already appear to be a hit. Orders are now pouring in to Coccadott’s Bakery on Facebook.

Bishop Eddie Long has a new title at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church: King.

Eddie, who spent much of 2011 battling charges of molestation, was wrapped in a priceless Jewish scroll as his church crowned him.

The ceremony was conducted by a rabbi, who explained the significance of the the scroll before bringing Eddie out to the center of the pulpit. “This is a scroll that’s 312 years old,” the rabbi told the New Birth congregation, noting that it is was found at the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. “This is a holocaust  scroll.”

Supposedly, surrounding him in the scroll is an honor reserved for kings and symbolically hides him in the scriptures.

During the ceremony, the bishop remained silent as he was draped in a prayer shawl and given the belt of righteousness that held the scroll together. Eddie, seated in throne-like chair, was then hoisted up by four members of the congregation and carried around stage while holding the scroll.

Not only was he named a king, the rabbi designated him a prophet of Atlanta.

Tony Cornelius, who worked alongside his father Don Cornelius on the iconic “Soul Train” and other shows, said his father placed a call to him on the day he died, reports CBS News.

Cornelius did not elaborate on the conversation, but said, “It was a call of urgency, and I came to his home immediately.”

He said his father was a private person and was “unhappy about some things” in his life. His father’s health, also, he said, was failing.

“My father was extremely private and unfortunately, when you’re a private person, you keep things inside,”

Today’s issue? He’s being dunned by his family for being unwilling to help his mother stave off foreclosure, according to the New York Daily News.

Morgan’s mother Alicia Warden lives in Ohio, and she and Tracy are considered estranged — the Daily News reported last week that she learned of her son’s recent hospitalization from the Internet. Warden, 61, lost her job a year ago and according to her daughter Asia Morgan (Tracy’s younger sister), “Her health is failing. She has diabetes, and her legs are giving out on her. This would be a drop in the bucket for Tracy. She has a son that can do, and she’s done everything that she possibly could for her family.”

After being laid off, Warden told the Daily News that she asked for help from her son; one of his employees called back, offering a “one-shot deal” of $2,000. Warden says she owes less than $25,000 on her home.

If Warden fails to make a minimum payment by Feb. 23, the bank has said it will begin foreclosure proceedings. She’s already at risk of having her utilities turned off and her car taken away.

“He’s never been a nice person,” said Asia Morgan of her brother, who Forbes reports is worth $18 million. “And money’s just made it worse.”

Pilar Sanders is claiming that her soon to be ex-husband Deion Sanders is holding her as a “financial hostage” and will only give her money if she has sex with him, says TMZ.

Pilar who filed an emergency motion in a Texas courtroom claims the NFL legend has canceled her credit cards and left her without any financial means to support herself and their children,and she needs the judge to force Deion to give her money so she can survive.

In the docs, Pilar claims:

“Since [Deion] filed for divorce on December 21, 2011, he has given [Pilar] $300.00 and offered her money in exchange for sexual favors.”

She then notes, “Pilar turned down the money.”

America might have gone mad when President Barack Obama sang some Al Green, but it’s old news for his wife.

During her visit to the “Tonight Show,” host Jay Leno asked First Lady Michelle Obama for the inside scoop on the president’s impromptu concert. Unfortunately, she couldn’t give up any goods because she didn’t know anything about it until after it happened.

“That was completely spontaneous. I didn’t even hear about it until it got on YouTube,” Michelle shared. “But he does have a beautiful voice, and he sings to me all the time.”

Michelle even tried to imitate his serenades, but had to note that her voice isn’t quite on par with her husband’s. In general, though, the first lady said she didn’t really miss anything out of the ordinary because Barack sings all the time.

“He doesn’t hesitate to show off his lungs to his wife,” Michelle explained with a smile. “He sings a lot of Al Green, Marvin Gaye…a little Stevie [Wonder]. He likes the classics.”

While the president may have caused a sensation by singing the opening line of “Let’s Stay Together,” Michelle admitted that their daughters were not as impressed as the rest of the country.
