CLEVELAND – Three people were shot in downtown Cleveland near Public Square and the Warehouse District, according to Cleveland police.

The shooting happened at about 2:30 a.m., just as the bars and night clubs closed early Friday morning.

Witnesses told NewsChannel5 that the altercation started inside Club Allure, 75 Public Sq., and then spilled out into the street. Two people were found with gunshot wounds just outside of Allure, and a third victim was found outside XO Prime Steakhouse on West 6th and St. Claire Avenue.

All three victims have been taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Cleveland police have one person in custody, but have yet to file charges.
