It used to be that the worst thing that could happen to you on Facebook was that you’d get tagged in an incriminating photo or get de-friended by a scorned ex. According to police in Indiana not showing your boo your FB page can get you shanked too.
According to The Smoking Gun, Shemicka McVey decided stab her boyfriend after he decided to hide his profile page from her.
The boyfriend, Maurice Davenport, said he was struggling to keep McVey from viewing his laptop and profile page on Jan 2. She eventually grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him for his secrecy. She, however, claims it was an accident and said he punched her.
Davenport’s current relationship status on Facebook is single but he might have always had this status, proving her curiosity valid. Why couldn’t she see his page if he wasn’t hiding anything? Still, after the violence the single status seems pretty reasonable. The only problem is that they live together and have a two-year-old child together. Hopefully they’ll be able to tolerate one another for the sake of their kid.
