CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – –

In Cleveland, two daycare employees are charged with child endangering, after leaving a nine-month-old baby girl locked inside a closed daycare.

It happened Wednesday evening at Nana Ella’s Daycare Center on St. Clair Avenue.

28-year-old Shana Manuel and 21-year-old Ebony Rush were the last employees to leave the daycare.

Police say they left London Ebony alone in her crib.

The daycare closed at six p-m; however, London’s mom, Teria, arrived just before seven p-m.

Teria thought her mom had picked up the baby, but her mom had not.

Teria flagged down a Cleveland Police Officer, who saw the baby through the window.

Firefighters responded and removed the window.

The baby was fine and given to her mom.

Police Officers then checked the names for the last employees to clock-out and went to their homes and arrested them.
