According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Kathy Scruggs, 44, had been laid off from her job back in the Spring. She tells a very funny story on how the winning numbers ended up in her hand. She said she came to play MegaMillions and the clerk gave her a Powerball and the rest is millionaire history.
