PIERCE COUNTY, WA (CNN/ KING / KIRO / KSTU) – The case of a missing Utah woman took a tragic turn Sunday when Washington State authorities say they believe Josh Powell deliberately set off an explosion that took his life and the lives of his two boys. Josh Powell was the focus of an investigation into the disappearance of his wife, Susan Cox-Powell. Deputies said it appears Powell sent an email that apologized and said goodbye shortly before the fire. "This is all on him. He set this up. He did it. He is the one who started the fire," said Ed Troyer, the Pierce County Sheriff's office spokesman.

GENEVA, Ohio - A Geneva woman is dead following a murder-suicide Sunday night in Ashtabula County. At about 11 p.m. Sunday, Jason David Dubois, 40, went to his ex-girlfriend’s mobile home and hid underneath of it until she arrived, according to Ashtabula County Sheriff William Johnson.

CLEVELAND - A man who was named one of Cleveland’s most interesting people fell to his death after apparently posting about a personal struggle on Facebook. Scott Bickel, 21, of North Royalton, died Wednesday night after falling into the Cuyahoga River near the State Route 82 Bridge in Sagamore Hills. The National Park Service said someone reported seeing the man fall at about 11 p.m. Crews recovered his body in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park a short time later.
