LOCAL NEWS: Man Who Helped Steal Jesus Statue Facing Additional Charges

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Another person has been arrested following a burglary at an Alliance church earlier this month.

Police said 19-year-old Delbert Watson, who was has already been charged with breaking and entering, and receiving stolen property, now faces charges for arson.

LOCAL NEWS: Woman Named Mary Confesses To Stealing Jesus Statue

ALLIANCE, Ohio – An Alliance teen admitted to police that she helped steal a 200-pound metal statue of Jesus Christ.

According to Alliance police, the statue was taken from the St. Theodore Catholic Church on South Linden Avenue in Alliance sometime between Nov. 24 and Dec. 18.
