MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio – Anthony Street is the busiest street in Maple Heights this week.

Crowds of spectators are starting to grow across the street from the new house being built by ABC’s Extreme Makeover:Home Edition. “It’s just really amazing,” spectator George Hauck said Thursday night.

Andre and Jasmine Anderson will move into the new house with their two sons next week.  They have no idea just how many people are stopping by to see the construction and to wish them well, because the show sent them on a vacation in Colorado.

A  group of nuns brought a huge batch of cookies for the crew of one of their favorite TV shows. “We watch it every Sunday,” Sister Mary Assumpta said, “and to have them right here in our neighborhood, it’s just so cool!”

The work schedule calls for the framing to begin Friday morning.  Crews plan to have the house up and ready for the family to move in Tuesday.

“We will pray that the weather cooperates and make sure everything works out fine,”  Sister Assumpta said.
