There are so many ways to make a buck in the U.S., including selling your voice to GPS. And in this economy, rappers who should have probably retired ages ago can still get their hustle on.

With that said, Flavor Flav is attempting to do just that — lend his voice to world of GPS. He will be providing driving tips and exciting Flavor Flav sayings like, “Yeah, boyee” and “Bass for your face.”

The Public Enemy hype man is not the first to be featured for GPS; he joins other celebrity voices, including Snoop Dogg, that can be downloaded through NavTones. The voice tones, by the way, are compatible with Garmin and TomTom navigation devices.

“Along with possessing an instantly recognizable voice and larger than life personality, Flavor Flav is a founding father of hip-hop and urban pioneer,” says Will Andrew, CEO of Wanderlust Media, which owns NavTones. “He’s a natural fit for our NavTones brand of GPS voices, and we’re stoked to be able to put Flav out there to millions of drivers around the world.”

The download, which is available from both NavTones and Amazon, costs $9.95. It also features a series of animated videos such as Flavor Flav’s “Top Ten Driving Tips” to motorists that are being followed by the law.
