No one reportedly was in the building when the fire was reported between 4 and 5 a.m. this morning at Smoove Night Club in Cleveland
Cleveland firefighters responded in force early this morning to battle a blaze that gutted a strip club at the corner of East 93rd Street and Nelson Avenue in Cleveland.
A police officer at the scene said no one reportedly was in Smoove Night Club, 3875 East 93rd St., when the fire was reported between 4 and 5 a.m. this morning.
Cleveland firefighters brought several trucks to the scene, including two ladder trucks to try and control the fire. The roof of the club collapsed during the blaze.
Firefighters were still at the scene at about 6:30 a.m. trying to get the fire under control.
