*If you missed the broadcast on Fox last night, Tyler Perry’s drama “For Colored Girls” won the best picture award at the 42nd National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards.
The film, which featured an ensemble cast including Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Thandie Newton, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose, Kimberly Elise and Kerry Washington also won for outstanding director for Perry and supporting actress for Kimberly Elise.
