Police on Friday said Nancy Cobbs, who was last seen in April about a half mile from Anthony Sowell’s house, is one of the 11 women whose bodies were found on Sowell’s property.

Cobbs, 43, is the fourth victim identified by police. Her family feared the worst when police began unearthing the bodies on Imperial Avneue.

Cobbs was a mother of four. She was staying with a daughter on Griffing Avenue, three blocks from Sowell’s house, when she disappeared.

Daughter Kyana Hunt sobbed at the crime scene on Imperial Avenue last week.

“I have no way to describe how I feel,” Hunt said then. “I want closure. I want to be happy to know she’s in a better place. If it isn’t her, I want the other families to have closure.”

Hunt and other family members gathered at the house on Griffing Avenue Friday afternoon shortly after being told Cobbs was among the dead.
