(blackmediaSCOOP) Japan has been struck by an earthquake once again: The USGS is reporting a 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit near the east coast of Honshu, about 215 miles from Tokyo, where buildings reportedly shook for a full minute. A tsunami warning has been issued for a coastal area already ravaged by last month’s tsunami; a meter-high wave is expected to hit the area. So far no reports of injuries…the earthquake hit in the middle of the night.
Hundreds of aftershocks have shaken the northeast region devastated by the March 11 earthquake, but few have been stronger than 7.0.
