Sure, there are several television shows like  “American Idol,” “The Voice” and “The Sing Off” to find new vocal talent, but for gospel fans, the only TV singing competition worth watching is BET’s “Sunday Best.”

Hosted by Kirk Franklin, with judges Donnie McClurkin and Erica and Tina Campbell of Mary Mary, the show is now at its pinnacle heading into next Sunday night’s Season Four finale.  St. Louis native Amber Bullock goes head to head with Denton, Texas’ own Andrea Helms in a battle between two powerhouse vocalists.

Last night, Kierra Sheard joined the show to inspire the ladies with her own anointed brand of praise.

Next Sunday on “Sunday Best,” the two finalists will perform a tribute to Mahalia Jackson and of course, a new gopsel star will be born.
