BRATENAHL — Bratenahl Village police are investigating what appeared to be a drive by PD Stockshooting Thursday night on Interstate 90 eastbound and east of Eddy Rd.

Police received a call at 7:06 p.m. from nearby Cleveland police about the shooting. Arriving at the scene, police found a male victim who was shot in his car. Cleveland EMS transported the male, whose name was not released, to Huron Hospital, where he underwent surgery. His condition is unknown at this time.

It is believed the victim’s vehicle was hit by the suspect’s truck. Police also believe the suspect got out of his truck after both vehicles pulled over and shot the victim.

Police were given a description of both the shooter and his vehicle, a black Ford pickup truck with heavy front end damage. The truck is a dually, with a wider back end.

The suspect is a tall black male wearing a black hoody sweatshirt. He was the only occupant in the truck.

Bratenahl police are asking anyone who witnessed the crime or has information about the suspect to call 216-681-1234. Callers  can remain anonymous.  Story From The Plain Dealer
