Chris Tucker could be gearing up for a return to the big screen with two different movie roles.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris is in talks for part in a film adaptation of The Silver Linings Playbook. It would be his first film role since Rush Hour 3 back in 2007.

The Silver Linings Playbook is based on a novel by Matthew Quick, which follows a high school teacher that is looking to patch things up with his wife after four years in a mental institution. Bradley Cooper will play the film’s main character; it’s not clear what part Chris would play.

Meanwhile, Variety.com reports that Chris is also considering a role in Neighborhood Watch, a comedy centers on a group of men who gather for guys’ nights under the guise of a neighborhood watch team. Things get real when the men discover an actual plot to destroy the world.

Chris would be playing a recent divorcee named Jamarcus.
