Mathew Knowles is launching another girl group. Bringing five ladies over from the UK, he will have them compete to become a member of a group, named From Above, on a brand new reality show that he will be executive producing.
Ashley, Daisy, Seyi, Chelsey and Monique are all in their early 20s and have had various roles in the entertainment business – from singer-songwriter and lead vocalist to dancers who have appeared on a reality show and Kanye West’s tour.
Planted in Houston, Texas, the women will undergo the famous boot camp that made Destiny’s Child so famous: hardcore physical, vocal, media and choreography training with help from musical director Tom McKinney, fitness instructor Rozelle Jones and choreographers Danielle Polanco and Frank Gaston.
The twist is that when the 5 girls arrive to their house, they’ll find another 2 who are also in the running for the coveted spot.
