CLEVELAND – Holiday CircleFest offers a free day of family fun in the heart of University Circle.
“Cleveland is a winter city, it’s a four season city and let’s embrace that!” said University Circle Incorporated President Chris Ronayne.
His enthusiasm for the 18 th annual Holiday CircleFest is contagious.
As preparations for Sunday’s festivities continued Friday, The skating is free, and skates are available for rent.
But there are other ways to travel to all the institutions around University Circle on Sunday.
“We’ll have carriage rides and free shuttle service available,” said Ronayne, adding it’s for all of the museums that offer free admission and special family activities.
Santa and a few of his reindeer will stop in at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History for stories and sing-a-longs.
Inside the Cleveland Botanical Garden, the WinterShow continues from now through December 31. In addition to a spectacular array of decorated trees, visitors can enjoy a display of Cleveland’s Best Gingerbread Houses and seasonal music from local choirs.
Holiday CircleFest is also a perfect opportunity to put a dent in your gift list.
“All of the museum gift shops offer unique things that you won’t find in the malls,” said Ronayne.
