TRENTON, N.J. – Some city buildings in Trenton, New Jersey could soon shut down because there’s not enough toilet paper.

A city council resolution to order more paper supplies was voted down because it included buying paper cups.

Some council members didn’t think the city should buy cups when it’s having financial problems. The acting Public Works Director said he had a solution but was shot down because it may not have been legal.

Meanwhile, the Trenton Police Department has filed complaints with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, saying there are never supplies and employees have to bring their own rolls of toilet paper.
