Whitney Houston’s only child, Bobbi Kristina, took to Twitter to wish her late mother a happy birthday.
Whitney, who passed away in February, would have been 49 years old today.
“Once it hits 12 am mommy it’s your birthday,” she wrote. “I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, You [deserve]NothingburtheBEST!”
Bobbi and beau Nick Gordon aren’t the only ones remembering Whitney today. Her mentee and friend Brandy tweeted, “Happy Birthday to the GREATEST VOICE OF ALL TIME!! Whitney Houston, you are the dream!!! You are the inspiration!! You are MY ANGEL!”
Whitney’s Sparkle co-star, Jordin Sparks, tweeted, “Happy Birthday Whitney! I can’t wait 4 everyone to see you #Sparkle.”
Bobbi and Nick decided Whitney’s birthday was the perfect day to commemorate her with tattoos. The two now have matching “WH” ink on their wrists. Doves and crosses surround the initials.
“now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy,” tweeted Bobbi, who reminded her fans that they’ll be able to see just how the Houston family members celebrated this day when their reality show premieres.
