Just find someplace quiet…find a quiet room and rest for 10 minutes – even if it’s the copy room at work or a quiet boardroom – just sit down, or lie down, and give your mind and body a little peaceful silence.

Just write…your thoughts in a journal. Getting what’s bothering you out of your head and onto a piece of paper can do an amazing job of helping release pressure and help you look at what’s stressing you out in a different light.

Laugh…and laugh, and laugh some more. one of the best ways to beat stress is laughing at something silly or funny.

Just shake your head…and let yourself to say “no” when you don’t want to or can’t do something. It’s very important to be honest with yourself and others about what you realistically can and cannot do.

Just ask…for some some help when you need it. Many times we need some extra help getting everything done that we need to. Instead of overwhelming yourself and making yourself feel sick, let others help you. When they need help, be sure to return the favor!

Just get things in order…make a list of things you have to do, being sure to prioritize it and and then following it in order.

Just remember…there is so much you have to be grateful for. When you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed, just breathe and remember  the beautiful things that are in the world.
