Many are wondering whether a cryptic Facebook message from Jada Pinkett Smith is a warning to fans that the rumored split between her and Will Smith is on its way.
“I am on a tremendous journey of great change in every area of my life and I see how change can be scary,” Jada wrote.
The “A Different World” actress wasn’t specific about exactly what’s coming, but she opted to comment more on her family life than any professional upheaval.
“How Will and I raise our family is a tremendous change from the norm. It can be scary for some folks but it should never THREATEN how anyone else chooses to raise their own children or how they choose to live their lives,” she said.
The mysterious missive has revived dormant rumors about a pending split between Will and Jada. The two dismissed the gossip in several interviews last year and earlier this year.
“Being there for each other and being present with our kids is the most important thing. I take being a parent very seriously,” Will told People magazine. “We make the effort to always keep family first.”
There have also been rumors that the Smiths’ youngest child, Willow, may be a lesbian. The 11-year-old “I Am Me” singer has raised a few eyebrows in the past with her creative hair choices and self-expression. However, there’s been nothing reported to substantiate the gossip.
Jada reiterated that fear of what others might think won’t hold her back and that it shouldn’t hold others back from doing what they decide is right for them.
“Don’t waste a moment simply fearing to live because of what someone may think about it,” she said.
