The romance between Kandi Burruss and her new beau Todd Tucker seems to be a match made in heaven, or on reality television. But their love was not met without opposition, from the netork that is.
They met while filming in South Africa, however, network rules say intimacies between cast members and crew members is strictly prohibited.
As the couple began to mature, eventually Kandi and Todd both decided their love was bigger than VH1, and they were willing to risk losing the gig in the name of love.
“He was willing to resign from the show,” Kandi told VH1′s “Big Morning Buzz.” Fortunately for them, Todd was able to keep his job and his woman. “He doesn’t really work on our show anymore, but he still works for the
company, but just on another show because they were supportive of us.”
