CLEVELAND – Cleveland’s West Side Market is closed Wednesday after firefighters contained an early morning fire.

Firefighters were called to the market along the 1900 block of West 25th Street in the Ohio City neighborhood around 2:20 a.m. for reports of a fire.

Fire officials tell NewsChannel5 the fire broke out at Sebastian’s Meat, causing damage to the stand and several others nearby.

Food throughout the market must now be inspected for health and quality assurance.

While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, fire officials said they believe the fire was accidental.

No one was hurt in the fire.

The Market, including produce stands, will be closed Wednesday due to the blaze.

NewsChannel5 has a crew at the scene.
