If anyone deserves to be honored for doing extraordinary work this year, it’s Robin Roberts!
The Good Morning America host, who received a bone marrow transplant and returned to work just five months later, is set to be honored with a Lifetime Leadership Award at the United Nations next month.
According to People, the reporter will be honored by fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg at the fourth annual DVF Awards on April 5th.
In 2010, von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation created the awards show “to recognize and support women doing extraordinary work to transform the lives of other women.”
Congrats, Robin!
