The rumors are true! It has just been confirmed that Beyoncé is having another baby!
Mrs. Carter moves quick doesn’t she? Earlier this month, Bey told “Good Morning America” that she’d like to have another child, playfully stating that her daughter Blue Ivy needs some company. Days later, the rumor mill began churning with speculation that she was pregnant again after she wore a Givenchy gown to the 2013 Met Gala that could easily have concealed a little baby bump.
Beyoncé continued to fuel rumors of a possible pregnancy by cancelling a show in Belgium under doctor’s orders due to a bout of exhaustion. Although her mother Tina Knowles denied that she’s got another baby on the way, several sources have confirmed to E! News that Bey and her husband Jay-Z are in fact expecting another child!
Neither Beyoncé’s nor Jay’s reps have made a statement on the news at this time. The announcement comes just as Bey’s uncle, Larry Beyince, aired out a little dirty laundry of his own. In a candid conversation with Celebuzz.com, he claims that she only got with Jay-Z because she was tired of being a single lady.
Five years into their marriage, the “Bow Down” diva and her hip-hop hubby Hov still seem to be very much in love. While the musical power couple are living out their happily ever after, Larry thinks its only because Jay-Z was determined to win Beyoncé’s heart. But was she simply tolerating him?
“He was after her and she wasn’t. She told me she wasn’t too particularly fond of him,” Larry claimed. “I would see him with her and pictures of them, I heard rumors they were together and she told me ‘no.’ You know how women get that look like ‘eww.’ I guess she wasn’t attracted to him.”
That being said, Larry didn’t think that Bey and Jay would end up together. But if he had to pin point why she chose Hov over any other potential suitors, Larry thinks Jay brought something to the table at just the right time. In a word, Larry believes that Beyoncé settled for Jay-Z.
“I was surprised she married him. I think she got tired of being alone,” Larry stated. “When you have as much money as she does she has to be careful about people wanting her for her money. And apparently he had as much as she had.”
With a combined net worth of roughly $1 billion, Jay and Bey know what it takes to build wealth. But they each came into the marriage with some serious coin of their own, and Larry said that the Knowles weren’t too particular about where Jay’s money came from as long as he had his own.
“I don’t think the family cared. Just that whatever he’s doing he’s making money [and] made it okay,” said Larry, who pointed out another major advantage to becoming Mrs. Carter. “One reason I was glad she got married is because she was no longer under her dad’s control. He is a control freak.”
Arguably one of the most famous singers in the world, Beyoncé fans saw in Life is But A Dream that she has been building her brand as an entertainer since she was a little girl. However, Larry said it’s not necessarily a path that she chose for herself.
“[Beyoncé] was forced into singing,” he told Celebuzz. “She didn’t want to be famous. She just wanted to be a normal child. She loved to watch cartoons and be with her friends.” Supposedly, B got mad at her father Mathew Knowles for steering her into the spotlight. That’s why it was no great shock to Larry when she ousted him as her manager after marrying Jay.
“I wasn’t surprised she fired him [as her manager]. I’m glad, actually,” Larry said before leveling another huge accusation. “I know he was getting 20 percent of whatever she made, and from what I know he wasn’t doing much for her. All I knew is that he wanted her to be famous and rich so he could be so rich.
