Mosunmola “Mo” Abudu was born in London and moved to Nigeria as a child. When her father passed away, Abudu returned to Britain. She later married a Nigerian man and returned to the country at age 28.

Abudu worked as a human resources executive for Exxon Mobile for two decades before making the decision to start her own network. She also has a background in hosting as the star of “Moments with Mo”, which was the first syndicated daily talk show on African regional TV. Abudu has interviewed a variable list of the most prominent people in the world: Hillary Rodham Clinton, former African Presidents F. W. de Klerk of South Africa and John Kufuor of Ghana, former England soccer skipper Rio Ferdinand, musician R. Kelly and American fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg.

Through her new television network, Mo Abudu hopes to change the world view of Africa by showcasing its rich beauty and heritage, accomplishments of the young people, landscaping and unique culture. She also plans to broadcast the network in a better quality, which is an improvement for the low quality production for which the country has been known to present.
