Spike Lee gushed over Mike Tyson Thursday as the pair promoted their upcoming HBO film of the former boxer’s Broadway show “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth.”

“Before the next question I would like to say that Mike Tyson is the most honest human being I’ve ever met in my life,” Spike began. “Most human beings are not going to display the dark parts of themselves, the demons they have, to the world. And tell them both with honesty. I want to thank HBO for letting us do this. Because, as you know, when a Broadway play is over, poof, it’s gone. Thank you HBO for letting us document this — this man on stage.”

After all that, Tyson responded with this…
