EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio – A church spent the day helping the families of the three women who were murdered in East Cleveland.

The Empowerment Church, located at 15837 Euclid Avenue, hosted a service and fundraiser for Angela Deskins, Shetisha Sheeley and Shirellda Terry Sunday afternoon.

The families were overwhelmed with emotions and were grateful for the support.

“I just wanted to thank you guys for coming out and supporting us. Thank you to the community who are standing behind us,” said Melissa Minor, step-sister of Shirellda Terry.

Kimmetta Sheeley, mother of Shatisha Sheeley’s, adds “I appreciate everything that everyone is doing for me and I am more than sure the other families are feeling the same way
