CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Foodbank said with the SNAP food benefit program expiring, more and more people need help feeding their families.
Kristin Warzocha with the foodbank told NewsChannel5 families have less money to spend on food and they turn to them for help.
“The fact is, I’m very concerned about this holiday season. The increasing need, the effects of cuts on local families, and how many more people are going to be turning to our door and to the doors of hundreds of member agencies for hep.”
