*At a screening of the videos for her new surprise album in New York over the weekend Beyonce admitted that the whole idea of springing a sudden album on people was scary, and that she had doubts even minutes before its release on iTunes.
“I was terrified. I was so scared. I already envisioned like the worst things that could happen,” Beyonce said Saturday (Dec. 21), according to Billboard. “I was really nervous because this was a huge risk.”
The singer’s self-titled fifth album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts last week after it was released without the public knowing. It includes 14 songs and 17 videos, which fans were able to see during the screening at the School of Visual Arts in New York. (More pics after the jump.)
