Lemon Ginger Detox

This detox is gentle and helps to keep your digestive system clean while maintaining the balance of the body’s pH. This formula is another one that is great to use in the morning when you first awake. The toxins within the body will be flushed out through the urine. You can use this detox by itself or take it two hours after using the sea salt detox. To make this detox, you will need 1 lemon, a stalk of ginger and purified water. Place 8-16 ounces of purified water in a pot and bring the water to a boil. Cut 15 thin slices of ginger and place them in the pot to boil for 30 minutes. Let the ginger tea sit for about 15 minutes before pouring it into a mug. Add half of a lemon to the ginger tea, stir with a spoon and enjoy! Make sure to drink this detox while hot.

If you don’t want to go the DIY route, there are several brands of detox tea on the market that you can drink at any time during the day. Some brands, however, recommend that you drink them at night so that the body can work overnight to purify itself. Yogi brand is one of my favorites and is made from organic herbs. When searching for other organic brands look for the word “Detox” on the box.
