AKRON, Ohio – The LeBron James Family Foundation wrapped up its ” Promise Project Week” by delivering a fully-renovated home to Akron student Mariah Riley and her family.

Riley is one of 800 students involved with LeBron James Wheels for Education Program.

It took 30 construction companies to make the home renovation possible in just seven days, an effort that was documented by HGTV’s Rehab Addict show and its host Nicole Curtis.

Nine other Wheels for Education students were given yard makeovers as part of the project.

Mariah Riley was filled with joy as she finally got the chance to tour her newly renovated home.

“Thank you so much, LeBron,” said Riley “I love my room. I just love how he just gave back to our family.”

Metis construction played a major roll in the home renovation. Company co-owner Katie Wright was honored her company had the chance to be part of the project.

“It’s very important that we are committed to our community,” said Wright. “We are committed to helping to build our community.”
