Why aren’t we surprised by this story? According to TMZ, crazy Uncle Kanye went off the rails again during a concert in Sydney, Australia. Kanye was playing a gig at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney when he stopped rapping mid-song … and began ordering the crowd to get on their feet before he’d continue.
Ye eventually refused to continue performing until someone in the crowd stood up with everyone else … problem was, the person was in a wheelchair.
An eyewitness told the Daily Mail Australia that Kanye said,
“I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t.”
One person in the crowd reportedly waved their prosthetic leg in the air and Kanye said they could sit.
Shortly after, Kanye spotted another person in the crowd sitting down and once again stopped the show…he then sent one of his employees into the crowd to make sure the person was actually wheelchair bound!
Once his people confirmed there was a real disability … Kanye said “it’s fine” and went back to doing the show!
Wait a minute. How much do the tickets to his show cost again? If people are paying their hard earned money to go see him, then why in the world is he fussing at them about standing up? They went to work to earn the money to give to him to entertain them. The only one who had to be standing up was West himself!
Oh Kanye…you stay classy sir!
