Direction

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir-fry the red bell pepper, onion, carrots, broccoli, and sugar snap peas until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove vegetables from heat and add another 1 Tbsp of sesame oil to the pan.
  4. Stir-fry the chicken until it’s almost cooked through, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Mix together the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Return vegetables to the skillet, add the sauce, and bring to a boil.
  7. Cook until the sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes.
  8. Serve over white or brown rice.

Garlicky Sugar Snap Peas

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 lb of sugar snap peas
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the sugar snap peas and saute until crisp tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
