Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey both were photographed wearing surgical masks to protect themselves from the Ebola epidemic while on an international flight.

Fear of Ebola has been running so rampant that even celebrities are freaking out. The virus can only be spread through direct exchange of bodily fluids.

With that being said, that didn’t stop the ladies from wearing the masks while they were on their way to an undisclosed location while filming season seven of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

“I’m not taking any chances! Thanks Dr. @jingjingharris for my mask! I won’t be instagramming for a while. I’ll miss you guys!” Burruss posted on Instagram.

Bailey also posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing the surgical mask. She captioned the photo, “better safe than sorry.”

The show’s producer Carlos King shared his thoughts about flying with the ladies while they wore their surgical masks. “Traveling with these two…clearly their scurrred of catching that danger!”

Nevertheless, some folks criticized the ladies on social media when they saw the photos of the surgical masks — especially since Ebola isn’t airborne.
