*Wedding bells will be ringing for the second time for Solange Knowles as she gets ready to marry her longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans this weekend.
Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the 28-year-old singer will indeed walk the aisle after keep her engagement and wedding to Ferguson, a video director, under wraps. The wedding is set to take place near the home Solange shares with her 10-year-old son Julez in New Orleans.
Us Weekly reports the wedding weekend will include a movie night for Solange and Ferguson on Friday (Nov. 14), followed by a rehearsal dinner on Saturday (Nov. 15) and the actual wedding in front of family and friends on Sunday (Nov. 16).
The wedding to Ferguson will mark the second time Solange has jumped the broom. The entertainer’s first marriage was to her son’s father Daniel Smith in February 2004 when she was 17 and he was 19.
Ferguson’s relationship with Solange goes back to when they were presenters at the 2012 BET Awards and attended events together. In June, Solange and Ferguson celebrated her 28th birthday with a visit to Jamaica.
