The mother of Tamir Rice is speaking out for the first time since the death of her son.
Samaria Rice is expected to speak at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in Cleveland at 11 a.m. Monday.
Tamir Rice was shot by Cleveland police at Cudell Recreation Center on November 22, after receiving a report of a man with a gun at the rec center. He died from his injuries the next day.
